Now the hard part. It isn't coming up with ideas, it's lassoing a few of the slow ones while they race in my head so that I can make them a thought and expound on them in verse.

A synopsis of me:
- I grew up in a small town located in SE Iowa. It wasn't until my early 30's that I realized how much I appreciate this.
- I've struggled with hmm, let's say "direction" but that has led to a bevy of career choices that I think make me pretty unique. I may be the first Realtor/Trucker/Banker/Security Guard/Retail Professional/Phlebotomist/Writer you've came across.
- After 28 years in Iowa, I packed my car and headed West for my own manifest destiny, in Las Vegas. *I LOVED Las Vegas* and it is this time of year I really start to miss having a glass of wine on the patio and watching the snow fall very very far away.
- After a few years in LV, I moved back to Iowa to a small town I had never been to, Dallas Center. Dallas Center is the quirkiest, most bizarre small town and I adore it!
- While in Dallas Center I met my husband and we now live in Des Moines. Our days are pretty docile and homey - My husband telecommutes for a large bank and works in their IT department; I've sold more than one article this year so I fancy myself a freelance writer and Lily the golden retriever sharks about the home letting us know she is here and when we forgot to put something away.
